Bonnie Jo Schell

Bonnie Jo Schell was diagnosed in Atlanta as mentally different at age 17. She graduated from Agnes Scott College and Arizona State University, and moved to California, founding the. She was Director of Consumer Affairs for a company managing Medicaid for Behavioral Care when the bureaucracy drove her to writing full time in Asheville. Bonnie has published poetry in Quarry West 35/36, Poets & Writers of the Monterey Bay, WNC Woman, Chinquapin 9 & 15, and Coast Lines: Eight Santa Cruz Poets. Her poems "Marcia Calling" and "At the Root of My Tongue" were published in in Knut House Magazine: The Insanity Edition in November 2015.
