Injustice Prize in Prose/Poetry

A prize of $1,000 and publication by Knut House Magazine awarded to an unpublished work of short fiction (less than 8000 words) or selection of poetry (less than 15 pages) that captures the experience of injustice or prejudice authentically. Works may explore social injustice and discrimination in any of its many manifestations, whether through racism, homophobia, sexism, xenophobia, imperialism, socioeconomic status, or other. DEADLINE: Submit a manuscript with a $15 entry fee via Submittable by August 31, 2016.

Winners will be announced by October 31, 2016. All submissions will be considered for publication in Knut House Magazine, to be published by December 31, 2016.
