Sid Gustafson, "Inter Canem et Lupus"

Sid Gustafson is a Montana novelist. When passing for normal, he is the equine behavior educator at the University of Guelph. In addition to writing and teaching, Sid practices veterinary medicine in Montana. Dr. Gustafson graduated from Washington State University with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and began a racetrack practice at Playfair Racecourse in Spokane, WA. His subsequent concern for the mental and physical health challenges that stabling and confinement created for horses led him to the study and practice of equine behavior. He writes for the New York Times, represents the health and welfare of racehorses across America, and is the author of HORSES THEY RODE, High Plains Novel of the Year in 2007. His most recent non-fiction is HORSE BEHAVIOR: THE NATURE OF HORSES. More novels are coming. None of them normal.
